TURTLES

The turtle farm, Juan Carlos, a young man born in Troncones has mounted it by himself since he was a child.

During the night several turtles come to spawn along the beach and Juan Carlos and his team recover the eggs to bury them again in a safe place in front of the hotel bungalows.

Two months later the turtles come out of the egg and this is the moment when the tourist can liberate the little turtle into the sea. Almost every evening there is liberation of turtles in Roberto's Bistro, one does not pay anything for doing it, but the donations are always accepted. Juan Carlos told us that they manage to liberate 15,000 turtles a year.

SURFING

The restaurant and bungalows “ Roberto´s Bistro ” is located on the beach of Troncones, at the Mexican coast.

If you look for places where to surf, “this is the place”. There are some others, such as Manzanillo, La Saladita and El Rancho. For those who wish to learn this marvelous extreme sport, we also provide surfing classes.
